Hey everyone! So on Sunday while we were traveling home from a wonderful weekend in Tennessee, my husband and sweet little girl (11 months) planned a little surprise and took me to our Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store for my early birthday gift! My birthday isn’t until November, but for 2 years now (since my husband and I got married) I’ve gotten to get my birthday gift early so I can wear them as much as I want during the summer! I am a huge lover of the Lilly Pulitzer line! I love how bright and cheerful each print is! They really outdo themselves every year with every single new print they come up with! This year I got two new prints from the Summer line! I’ll go ahead and post the link under each of the outfits for anyone that wants it! 🙂
This dress is a super favorite of mine! I got a size Medium in it.. It’s the perfect length for any occasion as well!! This one is called “Short Sloane Dress” in Gypsea Pink!! Link here.
When I was looking at getting a pair of their shorts for the first time ever I came across their skorts and fell in love with this one! It is of the same pattern as the dress I got and didn’t realize it until after I got home and took pictures of them LOL!! Can’t wait to pair it with a cute top! I got a size 10 in this skort! If you haven’t bought anything from Lilly Pulitzer before or don’t know what size you would wear, I’d highly suggest going to your local store so you can try on clothing! Different pieces fit differently.. Link here for the skort!!
Today, I am wearing one of my vintage Lilly Pulitzer dresses that was given to me 2 1/2 years ago! This was shortly after discovering Lilly Pulitzer and falling in love with the brand and their bright colors!
I am unsure of the pattern nor does it matter to me because I love it no matter! 😉 What is your favorite from the summer line from Lilly Pulitzer??
It’s so crazy to think that in 1 month we will have a 1 year old!! This year has flown by way too quickly! More quickly than what I would have liked!! This month Lexi turned 11 months old! She has been talking up a storm for the last 2 weeks! Loves to say “dada” and “mama” and also “I wove you” She already 30 inches tall! She’s going to be so tall and already is so tall! She has a dramatic side to her, and loves to show it on occasion.. She is very much a independent little girl, but will also want to cuddle at the same time! She loves to give hugs and say “awh” at the same time while giving hugs.. Loves ALL things FOOD!! Apple juice is her favorite juice. And Lemonade is her favorite as well!
Saturday she was just not having it on getting her picture taken, and I snapped the picture just at the right moment! Love her whole expression about her picture being taken! Her hair has finally all turned red! She still has very gorgeous blue eyes!! She’s outgrown ALL 9 month clothing and is in nothing but 12 month and 18 month clothes! Since she’s so tall we have to get 18 month dresses just so they fit her! 🙂
We won’t be doing a huge first birthday party, but I’d like to get her a first birthday shirt/onesie.. Anyone have any recommendations on your favorite Etsy shops or small shops that make cute first birthday outfits? Let me know in the comments!!
Hope each of you have a wonderful day!
Traveling with a baby can be stressful. Not knowing what to pack, and wondering if you forgot something. Which is always what happens to me! Today I’m writing a post about how we pack for our baby! And what we travel with!!
In Lexi’s bag is: Diapers, bath products, sleepsack, outfits, (depending on how many days we’re traveling will depend on how many extra outfits we pack along) Kidscents line from Young Living! We love the Kidscents line since its made specifically for kids! I put a roller fitment on them and go! I highly recommend them!🙌
Accessories we bring along: Pack & Play to use as a bed for Lexi, our travel stroller, toys for Lexi to play with. I will be adding pictures and links to the pack & play that we use, stoller, and also carriers that we can’t live without! 🙂
This sling is our go-to now! It is by far my favorite easy up and down carrier! You can order them here.
We use this brand of pack & play and love it! Amazon has so many different colors to choose from and I love that the price is so affordable! And it makes for a easy bed for littles while traveling! The one we have doesn’t have wheels on the end, though I think it’s pretty genius to have the wheel on the end! You can get it right here.
We bought this stroller when Walmart had it on sale for $35.00 which was a major score! And this is the best small travel stroller ever! It folds down like a umbrella stroller and is yet compact too! I highly recommend it to everyone! 🙂 Walmart has it right here.
What are your must haves for traveling with baby? I’d love to hear them!

This month Lexi turned 10 months old! It’s crazy how fast she growing up! This month she’s been learning to take steps! She taken about 5 steps with the help of holding onto things! I am so proud at all of her milestones she’s hitting!! This month was Lexi’s first Easter.. We went to an amazing Easter Sunrise Service and we loved it.. Lexi also loved it in spite of her having to be up early! She’s so much like me, she loves her sleep! I’ve included a family picture as well as her 10 month pictures below..
It’s going to be so much fun when Lexi starts talking.. Lately she’s been babbling way more, and saying little words here and there but nothing hardcore yet.. She has 4 teeth now.. Two top, and two bottoms.. Teething is rough but I am hoping we are having a slight break from them.. Being a mother is so amazing, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Anyways, hope each of you have a wonderful night..
Good afternoon every one! Today’s post is about Pink Blush!! I am so honored to be able to work with this company for a collaboration! I adore their clothes so much! They have super comfy maternity clothing as well as comfy women’s and plus size clothing as well! I came across Pink Blush when I was pregnant with my daughter! I was looking for comfy yet stylish maternity clothes that didn’t look like maternity clothes and that I could wear after my daughter was born too! I’m happy to say I’ll be posting a picture of each outfit below with the link to purchase it below it!
Navy Crisscross Shift Dress
Both of these dresses are super comfy! I am also holding a giveaway on my Instagram so be sure to drop by and enter it!! I am wearing a small in both dresses! Hope each of you have a wonderful day!!
Good afternoon everyone!! I’m so glad that you’ve stopped by to take a look at my blog! I haven’t posted any monthly updates about Lexi the last two months! I’m sorry about that! So today I’m posting it! I’m also going to try and post either weekly or by-weekly! What are some suggestions y’all would like for me to post? Give me all the ideas!
Ok now onto Lexi, she’s 9 months old this month! She knows how to crawl, is learning to pull herself up and let’s go so she can try and stand on her own! I’m so amazed at how much she’s learning! She loves her books which I’m sure I’ve mentioned before, also loves to eat anything we eat! I’ll post both her 8 month and 9 month pictures below!
I’m amazed by how much she’s growing! I can’t believe in just 3 short months she’ll be a year old! It’s crazy how fast the first year goes by! Some might say that it goes by slowly especially if they are having cranky babies or just having day to day difficulties! But for us, it seems to go by fast since we have such an easy and happy go-lucky baby! It’s been amazing and I just love motherhood so much! It’s everything I dreamed about!💓
The other day I took a picture of Lexi and I! It’s got to be one of my favorites yet!!💓💓
Praying that each of you have a wonderful day!!
I don’t do much outfit posting on my blog much. But I just had to share my wonderful find from GH Bass this week! My husband, Lexi, and I went into their store the other day just looking at their winter clothing and all.. I ended finding a wonderful flannel top, and 2 cotton t-shirts all on sale! I just love how all my shirts are so comfy to wear and also are at appropriate length and don’t ride up when I bend down to pick Lexi up!👌

Hello everyone! Hope each of you have been having a wonderful New Year and January! We had some snow near the beginning of this month which is so rare for North West Mississippi!! We’ve also had some nice warm days as well! I really can’t wait for Spring so we can take Lexi to the park to swing and such! This month Lexi turned 7 months old! She’s such a spunky little girl! She loves food, her daddy, going to the zoo, playing with her puppy (Cassie our Great Dane) and just overall loves learning new things! 💖😊
I have included some of my favorites this month! Having a cell phone to capture every moment is so amazing! I am so blessed to be this girl’s mom! It’s so fun to watch her grow and become more mobile these past few months! This month she hit a milestone and has been learning the ropes of crawling! Watching her hit these milestones are so awesome! I am in awe every day with how much she’s growing and learning! 😍😘💖
Hope each of you have a wonderful evening!
So today I am writing a post about Lexi’s first 6 months! Today she turned 6 months old and it feels like yesterday since she was born! It’s been so much fun having her here!! I am including all of her “monthly milestone pictures” as well! So, her favorite thing to do these days are, squealing as loudly as can be! Loves her purees and also trying to spit them out at me too! Loves it when Daddy plays “airplane” with her, and just lights up period when daddy comes into the room where ever she is!
Ok now onto the pictures!
This month is extra special cause this is Lexi’s First Christmas!! I wanted to take her picture by the Christmas Tree to also be sort of her First Christmas photo! I definitely will try and take a better “Christmasy” photo soon!! It’s so much fun having a little girl to dress up, play with, and cuddle when she isn’t feeling well!! She’s been teething very much lately and so the extra cuddles have been so nice! She’s also a wonderful eater! Loves her purees, crackers, and even pancakes! Love my girly so much!!💗💗
Hope each of you have a wonderful night and week!!
I am putting together the top 10 baby items that I feel are necessary to have for baby!! I have experimented with items for our daughter and have decided to write a blog post about my favorite items!!
*Note: This post is not an ad for any items! Not being paid for by any companies these are just my thoughts on the best items to have for baby!
1. ErgoBaby Adapt Carrier
This item is a must have!! I just got this for my now 5 month old and I honestly don’t know why I didn’t get it when she was first born! It is so comfy for both mom and baby!! The Adapt is for newborn-toddler! It can be purchased from Ergobaby and they have 4 colors to choose from! I got the black since I wanted a color that can match every thing! I also got black to use for any other babies we have!😊
2. SwaddleMe Swaddle Wraps
Swaddle wraps are a lifesaver for newborns!! If we didn’t have the swaddle wraps I don’t know how we would have survived the newborn stage! Lexi loved being swaddled from the time she was born! And swaddle me swaddle wraps are perfect for beginners who have never swaddled before! These come in sizes from preemie-large! These can be purchased any where that sells baby items or from Summer Infant
3. SwaddleMe muslin swaddle blankets
These are a lifesaver as well! We love using these as blankets in the carseat, for naptime, for feeding times, and they were so useful while nursing! Lexi has 5 total and will probably have more as the time goes on! They’re so lightweight and so useful! Here’s the website to purchase from Summer Infant and also can be purchase anywhere!
5. Dr. Brown’s Bottles
When we ended up having to bottle feed when my daughter was 6 weeks old. We were trying to find the best bottle that didn’t make our girl swallow too much milk and end up throwing it back up! The ONLY bottle that worked were the Dr Brown’s Bottles! And they still work to this day! This set is available at Babies-R-Us and also at stores that carry these bottles!
6. MAM Pacifiers
If you are going with pacifiers for self soothing the MAM pacifiers have worked so well with our daughter! We’ve used the ones that the hospital gave her, the Dr Browns ones (she still takes them every now and then) but she mostly now takes the MAM ones! They’re so great for self soothing and for falling asleep for naps! Target has them as well as any baby store!
7. Baby Swing
When our daughter was 9 weeks old we got her a baby swing since she loved to be rocked and still loves to be rocked! We got this one from Babies-R-Us and couldn’t be more happier with it! We wanted something gender neutral since I want to hold onto it and use it for future babies! One reason we went with a portable one was so we could store it without having to take up a lot of space!
8. Pack and Play systems
When our daughter was first born we didn’t need a pack and play since we have a antique baby cradle that our daughter slept in. But once she outgrew that and got a little more mobile we got a pack and play for trips and for her to play in while at home! Here’s a nice one to use from newborn-toddler from Target
9. Boppy Nursing Pillows
These nursing/position pillows are so amazing!! Lexi has been using hers since she came home from the hospital and even at the hospital while we were nursing! And she still uses it at 5 months! This pillow is also great for when your little is learning to sit up and helps them be in more control! Here’s where you can purchase it Boppy Company
10. Britax Marathon Carseat
When our daughter was just 2 months old we ended up needing to find her a new carseat! Her infant bucket seat was starting to be too small and she would scream the entire time she was in it.. So my husband and I started looking around and found a nice convertible carseat that fit all of our needs! This carseat met all of our requirements for our daughter and when we have future children we will be going with this to begin with! Britax Marathon Carseat
